DESCRIPTION

This course is the next step in advancing your career beyond teaching the standard PADI courses and will set you apart as an instructor. You will be that much more attractive as a potential employee as many dive resorts will employ MSDTS for the variety of courses that may be added to the center by the range of specialities that they may teach.
If you have just finished your IE, you generally have about 10 working days before your credentials come through so why not use that time wisely and train for your MSDT, the next step up the professional ladder, and a prerequisite for PADI Staff Instructor and Tec 50 Instructor.

We offer many different kinds of Instructor level continuing education programs and the MSDT is the first step to a whole new level of teaching. When you complete this course you will understand, through our Course Director, the standards for each particular speciality course taken, its components, and have hands-on experience in how to teach each one. While some specialities are easy to teach, others may require more advanced training and in-depth theory. Taking these courses with your Course Director will clarify how to teach these courses and make you feel more comfortable training others in them. You will then have the opportunity to participate in a 3-week internship with our dive center, to learn and team teach with our experienced instructors. Completing your MSDT training with our dive center will also gain you a valuable reference from our Course Director.
