emergency first responder instructor
CPR and first aid skills are lifesaving skills that are important to everyone, not just scuba divers. Over the years, demand for trained professionals has increased dramatically and now most employers require a number of staff to be trained in CPR/ First aid. The Care for Children compliments the EFR and is essential to all childcare workers.

DESCRIPTION
The Emergency First Responder Instructor course focuses on giving additional training to already qualified first responders and is based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines. This hands-on approach, through independent study, classroom sessions, and teaching assignments, prepares instructors to structure and organize, market, promote and teach the Emergency First Responder courses to both divers and non-divers. EFR courses make learning easy by providing students a comfortable environment to practice their emergency care skills and leave feeling confident and ready to help someone in need.
Whether it is to continue your education, save time when you do your IDC, or to make yourself more appealing to future employers, you will find this course invaluable.
This course is run in conjunction with every IDC program and as an Emergency First Response Instructor you can teach Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care as well as Care for Children
The EFR certificate is a prerequisite for all courses beyond the Advanced Open Water course and the EFR instructor certification is a mandatory requirement for your PADI Instructor qualification. Allowance has been made, during the IDC, for completion of the course. PADI Divemasters may enroll and attend this course.
If you do this course as part of your IDC, then you will also receive a FREE PADI emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor speciality (PADI application fee paid separately)
