Our IDC training center, located within Selinas, offers a comfortable, professional environment, conducive to studying and learning. All within the tropical, beautiful hotel that is Selinas, with access to a swimming pool designed with the IDC in mind and located on its own beach close to the famous North Beach
The instructor course follows three basic paths, all of which apply the same IDC instructional system and performance requirements

You may complete the Instructor Development Course (IDC) as a single program (AI and OWSI)

You may take the Assistant Instructor course (AI) , which consists of key IDC components and then complete the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) which includes the remaining IDC components

An instructor from another dive organisation may cross-over to become a PADI instructor by completing the OWSI program
TWO COMPONENTS
The IDC consists of 2 components
Attending the two parts together is what we call Full IDC training
1 PADI Assistant Instructor
2 PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
This course also includes three extra modules
1 PADI IDC prep course
(2 days and scheduled before the commencement of the full IDC). This is included free of charge.
We highly recommend purchasing the dive theory online and commence study before beginning the course. (Normal cost $144 USD, special IDC price $57.60 USD)
2 PADI EFR Instructor
(1 1/2 days and included during the course) This is mandatory and is paid separately
3 Free PADI oxygen provider instructor speciality course
to be completed alongside the EFRI course (PADI certification fee paid separately)
A free day of diving or whale sharks is included during the course free of charge and depending upon the season.
After completion of your PADI IDC, you will be independently assessed in a PADI examiner over 2 ½ days.
